MIRA Technology Park, Nuneaton

Together with our partners at GMI, we have been working on a brand new state of the art warehouse at the MIRA Technology park near Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The 34,000 sq. ft. high-specification R&D facility, located close to Nuneaton, Warwickshire, comprises two units featuring integrated office and workshop space. Purpose-built to support the automotive and mobility sectors, the facility is designed to accelerate research, development and innovation within this globally significant cluster.

Europe’s largest and fastest-growing automotive R&D hub, MIRA Technology Park is home to more than 35 companies, including Aston Martin, Bentley, Bosch, Jaguar Land Rover, and Polestar.

In our groundworks package for this project, R.O.Donaghey have undertaken works including the excavation and construction of the building foundations and concrete slab flooring, excavating for and installing storm and foul drainage which included the instillation of 2 SDS 310m3 and 134m3 attenuation tanks.

In addition to this, we completed the excavation and installation of electrical services for the site, including works to for the slab for the transformer compound. Alongside this we have completed external works such as external block paving, tarmacking of roads and the building car park, sub bases for resin-bound gravel paving, and kerbing to roads.
